An NYUAD Senior Explores Growth Mindset Interventions to Combat Math Anxiety in Argentine Students

 An NYUAD senior Juan Soto is exploring how growth mindset interventions might reduce math anxiety and improve math self-efficacy and performance in Argentine high school students. His study will also examine how perceived math usefulness and social support may enhance the effectiveness of these interventions, aiming to inform better educational strategies for the future. Dr. Antje is guiding Juan in this “capstone” project, a demanding, year-long endeavor aiming at a significant piece of research or creative work produced by all students at NYU Abu Dhabi.
