Hala Sukkar

I currently work as a Research Assistant at the Teaching, Learning, and Development Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi. In this role, I am involved in a research project that investigates how young children interact with digital technologies, which is an area I find both timely and deeply important in today’s rapidly evolving world.

Over the past two years, I have gained extensive research experience in the UAE, contributing to both qualitative and quantitative studies focused on early childhood development. Through this work, I’ve had the opportunity to explore diverse aspects of how children grow, learn, and engage with their environments. I am committed to continuing research that not only advances academic understanding but also supports meaningful, culturally relevant improvements in child development practices.
